Muir Woods National Monument
A 30 minute drive north of San Francisco is a unique places known for its stellar redwood trees. Muir Woods is a reminder of the extensive coastal redwood forests of earlier centuries that provided material for the lumber industry. Muir Woods is now a haven for the remaining trees.
The park provides such a peaceful place to enjoy another one of the wonders of mother nature.
