The young girl&#8217;s face is sharp.<\/center><\/td>\n<td width=\"250\"><center><a href=\".\/images\/action\/DSC03357.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[4180]\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\".\/images\/action\/DSC03357s.jpg\"><\/a><br \/>\nBy changing the shutter speed to 1\/15th second, the blurred image creates a definite feeling of movement.<\/center><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"250\"><center><a href=\".\/images\/action\/DSC03366.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[4180]\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\".\/images\/action\/DSC03366s.jpg\"><\/a><br \/>\nHere, the movement is mainly the girl&#8217;s arm striking the tree. Her face is still relatively sharp with a 1\/30th second exposure.<\/center><\/td>\n<td width=\"250\"><center><a href=\".\/images\/action\/DSC03405.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[4180]\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\".\/images\/action\/DSC03405s.jpg\"><\/a><br \/>\nUsing a relatively slow shutter speed and panning (moving the camera to follow the action), produces blur except for the main subject. It takes a little practice to produce this effect.<br \/>\n<\/center><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>Don&#8217;t hesitate to set your shutter speed to 1\/30 or slower and let the action do the talking.
