It’s not too Late to Capture the Fall Colors<\/B>

This article was a fun and easy assignment for me. From beginning to end it took barely two hours to shoot and write.<\/p>\n

Confession<\/u>: I spent an additional 30 minutes driving back to the office to fetch the camera’s memory card which I inadvertently left with my computer.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

<\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Why was this assignment so easy? Because the colors and lighting do all of the talking. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here the sun is at my back. This emphasizes the texture of the leaves.<\/center><\/td>\n

Here I’ve moved a few feet so that the light is now coming from in back of the leaves.<\/center><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

For this picture I’ve moved closer to the foilage. The light is coming from over my shoulder and captures the subtle color of the leaf.<\/center><\/td>\n

With the sun coming from behind the foliage, the color is much more vivid. I’ve avoided shooting directly into the sun by angling the camera slightly towards the right side of the leaves.<\/center><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

Not all of Fall’s beauty comes from the trees. This thistle was begging to be captured.<\/center><\/td>\n

The same thistle is lit from behind producing a stark image.<\/center><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

My message here is that it takes only a few minutes to capture the rich colors of the fall. Don’t miss the chance to take those pix.<\/p>\n

Ready. Set. Go – get your camera and start filling the viewfinder with bright fall colors and images. Experiment. You’ll have nice memories to recall when you’re in the middle of the coming cold, dreary winter days.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
